CHANGE OF LOCATION
The “Presential ICAO Intensive Course” taught by Mister Colin will be transferred to ICALearning, which is close to LATAM at Congonhas airport, following the closing of the EJ School in São Paulo.
Mister Colin will continue to be the teacher delivering this high-quality intensive course at ICALearning. We are confident that this change will benefit students as it will be held in an environment that is 100% focused on Aviation English.

The "Presential ICAO Intensive Course" is an intensive course that is held weekly from Monday to Friday and has a workload of 35 hours with a maximum of 5 students per class. The course is focused on the ANAC English proficiency test, the "Santos Dumont English Assessment", and studies the four parts of the test: Part I - Aviation Topics; Part II - Interacting as a Pilot; Part III - Unexpected Situations; and Part IV - Picture Description and Discussion. During the last 4 years the pass rate has been 87%, with 14% of students reaching level 5.
Mister Colin was one of the pioneers in teaching English for aviation in Brazil. He has been an English Teacher since 1992 and started to prepare students for the ANAC test in 2011. He has already given more than 8,000 hours of instruction to more than 1,800 pilots. He is a member of the International English Association for Civil Aviation and has taught the “Presential ICAO Intensive Course” since 2015.
ICALearning was founded by Christopher Coates in 2012, who was one of the creators of the ICAO test in 2007. The school is focused on ICAO preparation, courses for Flight Attendants, Business Classes, Translations and Interpreting Services, and is very highly regarded in the sector.
